Breaking and Give into the Crave

I had stomach flu the other day and was so miserable… but then I had a wild craving for warm brownies…

I wanted brownies so bad that I hobbled over to the kitchen and chucked ingredients in a pot so fast it was a blur. In 20 mins I had brownies… and it was HEAVEN!

This is my idea of a treat! Eatting something that is heaven to you! TIP: Don’t waste your treats on anything that is not heaven!

I dolloped a scoop of plain yogurt and sprinkled raspberries and black berries on top!

I use the recipe of the back of the Frys Cocoa jar, except I put in less sugar and cook it for half the time.

1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour.

1 teaspoon baking powder.

1/2 teaspoon salt.

1 cup melted butter.

1 cup cocoa, Fry’s.

2 cups sugar.

4 eggs.

Mix all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.

Melt butter in a saucepan. Remove from heat. Stir in Fry’s Cocoa. Blend in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.

Blend in dry ingredients and chopped nuts.

Pour batter into greased 13X9X2 inch pan. Bake at 350F 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and frost.
